Mother's Day

Yesterday was a great day! I was treated so well, I don't think I deserved it. But Kevin assures me I did, so I'll have to take his word for it. He gave me the best present I could have ever asked for. He wrote a book compiled of different pictures from when we got engaged to when Eli was born. He wrote in his own words what a blessing each of our children are in our lives and how grateful he is to have me as their mother and his wife. It was very sentimental, I want to cry just thinking about it. He is a gifted writer and I will cherish forever what he wrote for me. I couldn't have asked for a better Mother's Day present.

Elizabeth gave an excellent talk in Primary yesterday about strengthening our families. We were very proud. She did it without much practice since we threw it together that morning before church. She reads so well that it wasn't hard at all. And unlike me, she loves to be the center of attention and doesn't have a problem with stage fright, so she did just fine. We are thinking about trying acting lessons for her this summer. We'll see if it will be promising for the talent show at the family reunion. We are all looking forward to that!!

Fathers and Sons is this weekend and Kevin can hardly wait to take Kyler camping. They'll have loads of fun and Liz and I will get to do a girls thing. Oh and futsal is going well. We are undefeated so far and I haven't hurt myself yet. Last week was an exciting game, we played the other team in our ward and we won 4 to 2! I have yet to score a goal in a game and I'm determined. There is always this weeks game.
